Details:
John McLaughlan assigned to the A.A. Co deposed - about six or seven months ago I was driving a team of the Companys from Newcastle to the Company estate at the Peel. I camped one night about a mile at this side of Mr. Buchanan. My dray was robbed that night and four chests of tea and a beg of sugar belonging to the company were stolen. I saw only two men on that occasion they were disguised by having their faces black or wearing black cloth. One of the men was armed with a long gun like a musket the other had a pistol.
